Teradata Senior Program Manager in San Diego, California

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who will utilize his or her expertise to lead a highly visible and important corporate strategy initiative for Teradata representing Customer Support and Services (CS&S). The role will have executive level visibility, thus requires a high energy, creative structured thinker with the ability to organize and lead a cross-functional team. This role will be CS&S’s lead for the Teradata’s Business System, which is a cross-organization and cross-functional strategy deployment team. The incumbent will design and operationalize metrics to ensure successful execution against Teradata strategy. Additionally, the role will establish, monitor and measure organizational metrics and initiatives. The role reports directly to the CS&S Chief of Staff and Vice President Global Operations and works directly with the CS&S EVP.

Primary Responsibility

  • CS&S’s program lead for Teradata Business System, measuring and monitoring the deployment of Teradata’s strategy

  • Establish metrics to measure progress against Teradata strategy and organizational initiatives

  • Program manage and provide oversight to cross organizational, cross-functional initiatives associated with the Teradata Business System

  • Program manage and provide oversight to organizational transformation initiative

  • Establish and report progress on initiatives to cross-functional teams and CS&S LT

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be local to San Diego or willing to relocate

  • 5-10 years of experience and knowledge of Customer Support and Services business

  • 5+ years of experience project managing enterprise level projects

  • Expert in written and oral communications with the ability to create meaningful and informative reports and presentations in MS PowerPoint and Word

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present in front of executives and large audiences

  • Experience working in an agile environment & familiar with agile principles

  • Experience with systems or process engineering methodologies and documentation

  • Proven track record of successful change management initiatives.
